SATSUMA, Fla. -- Investigators again searched woods looking for missing 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings on Thursday - on the day her father married the teen-ager who was with Haleigh when she disappeared.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office said it had about 100 law enforcement officials search along U.S. Highway 17 north of Crescent City. The area has not been searched in the past, and nothing was discovered on Thursday.

The family told WESH 2 News that Ronald Cummings, 25, married 17-year-old Misty Croslin in a private ceremony. The couple is schedule to appear on NBC's Today Show at 7:30 a.m. Friday. It will be shown on WESH 2.

Cummings asked Croslin to marry him on Sunday night at Chili's in Palatka. Croslin was sleeping in the home she shared with Cummings on the night Haleigh disappeared one month ago.

The sheriff's office said today's search "is not the result of information received, but is being conducted as one more step in the continuing search for Haleigh."
