.
Drew Peterson is heading to Reno Friday to spend a weekend at the famous Moonlight Bunny Ranch, the basis for the HBO reality series 'Cathouse,' where he will meet owner Dennis Hof to talk about job possibilities.
.
Hof said today that he will offer the former Bolingbrook police sergeant a job as head of security of the Nevada brothel, which employs 500 working girls."He seems like a very charismatic guy," Hof said.
.
But if Peterson were to take the job, he would not be featured on the reality show, Hof said. HBO executives put the kibosh on the plan because it was too "controversial. HBO called me and said they decided they didn't want him on the show," Hof said. "So it's off the table."
.
Peterson, 55, is the suspect in the October 2007 disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy, who was 23 at the time. Authorities are also investigating the death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, 40, who was found drowned in an empty bathtub of her Bolingbrook home in 2004. Peterson has not been charged and has denied any wrongdoing. He declined to comment Thursday...
.
Hof said that the women at the ranch initially had mixed reactions about the idea of Peterson working with them. "Then one girl raised her hand and said, 'Dennis, remember when we convicted Richard Jewell?' Hoff said, referring to the security guard wrongly suspected and later cleared of setting off a deadly bomb at Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park."Then they all raised their hands and it was unanimous [support]. We all watch CSI. There's no way to get away with anything anymore."
.
Hof originally wanted to offer a job to former Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who is represented by the same publicist as Peterson, but he turned it down.
Then radio disc jockey Erich "Mancow" Muller called him and asked him to consider Peterson, Hof said."He said, 'I've got somebody else," Hof said. "And Drew Peterson was right there."--
.
Of course, now we know Drew isn't going to make that flight in the morning. What does this say about him? He would be taking four children to live in Nevada to take a job in a brothel. Now...if I don't really think that would be an appropriate environment for teenage boys, let alone the little ones. Stacy's little girl should be about four now. But that is my opinion, my morals.
.
And what does it say about his respect for women. He has none. In his world, women are for taking care of the kids, cleaning the house and providing sex on demand.
